DARO was founded in 1935 by Dunbar A. Rosenthal (DARO is an acronym of his initials) and is a full-service property management company, providing rental property supervision and management, from construction and renovation projects, rent collection, tenant relations, and mortgage and bill payments to disaster protection and property maintenance. Now, with approximately 50 employees DARO remains a strong leader in owner-managed firms of the Metropolitan DC area. Our mission is to become DC's landlord of choice for tenants seeking the charm and grandeur of DC's historic properties, but the desire to have the comfort of a Class A service experience. Our Company aims to become DC's leader and innovator in "21st century" rental apartment communities and residential property management services. Our management concept is founded on professionalism, integrity, accountability and quality service.
