Welcome to the only state embassy in Washington, D.C.! We are non-profit and non-partisan, and our mission is to celebrate, connect, and champion Florida to the world! Founded by Rhea Chiles in 1973, our beautifully restored 1891 Victorian home has welcomed visiting Floridians, students, dignitaries, elected officials and those doing business in the nation's capital.While enjoying a cold glass of Florida orange juice, explore the outstanding art collection and antique furnishings.
