About Making Waves

Making Waves (Golven Maken in Dutch) is the name under which I, Dette van Zeeland, work with organisations, teams, communities and inspired people, and guide transformation. Making Waves is initiating change in the undercurrent and the upper current, in the structure and in the culture. I do this by facilitating the dance between personal wisdom and collective wisdom. So that we are in flow, in flowing organisations. By increasing our awareness in collaborations, fully inviting the wisdom present, together we realise an ever-increasing wave of impact, humanity and wisdom. As an organisational coach, I inspire and guide organisations and teams to work together in a more conscious and effective way, based on equality and ownership. I help organisations to become a living system that harnesses collective wisdom, embraces a culture of trust and openness and a clear organisational structure that can handle continuous change and knows how to navigate through tensions. To do this, I use Sociocracy 3.0, Deep Democracy, Agile and Teal principles, connecting communication, systemic work, ancient wisdom and rituals in the workplace, to mark moments and create movement and transformation in teams and organisations. I inspire with dynamic formats and tools that invite all perspectives and promote cocreation, and I look systemically and holistically, above and below the waterline. You can ask me for an organisational or team coaching process, but also for longer-term process coaching, for workshops, training, keynotes and facilitation, for online and offline coaching.
