About Panta Transportation

Our mission is to provide universal access to convenient, transparent, safe and reliable transport services across the developing world. Currently, Panta is delivering the most significant transport infrastructure program ever undertaken by the Philippines, which will shape the way 70,000,000 Filipinos travel every single day. The Panta Transportation Network is an interoperable and intermodal automated fare collection system which will allow commuters to seamlessly hop from one mode of transport to another without having to carry multiple transit cards or have exact change ready. Panta Transportation has been developing the National intermodal Automated Fare Collection System (AFCS) alongside the Department of Transportation (DOTr) for the past three years. We have been largely responsible for the continued development of the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP) and AFCS projects in Metro Manila. We’re also developing the Panta Transportation Network to work seamlessly with the Panta product and service ecosystem. By doing so, we provide consistently high returns to shareholders and incredible service to our customers by continually improving the things that make commuter journeys better. In 2019, CEO David Kahale and his team won the World Bank Group and Deloitte Case Study Challenge in Washington, D.C. The achievement was made possible by creating an integrated public transit system in a way that supported access, addressed gridlock and took into account the emerging trends of micro-mobility. This fantastic achievement demonstrated that the Panta Transportation network is very capable of being the most accessible, sustainable and progressive AFCS in the Philippines and the world.
