About UBC Bionics
UBC Bionics is a student-led engineering design team at the University of British Columbia. We are working towards creating a low-cost, rapidly manufacturable, and reliable bionic arm for amputees enabling individuals to lead more independent lives.Future plansOne of our goals is to compete in the Powered Arm Prosthesis Race held at Zurich Cybathalon. This competition includes the use of our pilot project in a variety of daily tasks in timed events.
