Yatek is a technology company helping therapists treat social anxiety using VR exposure therapy and AI. The company is redefining exposure therapy through a virtual reality-based training tool with customizable virtual simulations of social interactions and continuous quantification of patients' progress, allowing for patient-centric and individual treatment, and for the therapist to supervise and adjust exercises carried out by the patient. This allows for the patient to repeatedly practice relevant anxiety-causing situations in VR at home, while the therapist dramatically can reduce treatment time and at the same time increase income. Yatek was established in 2021 and is headquartered in Trondheim, Norway.
